FCSS Fundraiser | May 25

FCSS is purchasing a Tri-shaw bike for use in the town of Rimbey and will refer to it as the “Rimshaw”.


Volunteer driver’s or “pilots” will provide bike rides to seniors free of charge, giving them a chance to get out and feel the wind in their hair!
Legacy Ford Rimbey invites you to attend our BBQ and purchase a burger or drink, take a test drive or make a cash donation to support Rimbey Family Community Support Services (FCSS).


This will be a good community building program, engaging people of all ages.


For each test drive, Legacy Ford Rimbey will donate $10.

100% of proceeds from hot dog, burger and drink purchases.

Matching cash donations dollar for dollar.


We hope to see you on May 25, between 11:00 am – 1:30 pm.

‘Fill-A-Ford”‘ Food Drive

UPDATE: Wow, what a community we have here in Rimbey! We collected a whopping 908 lbs of groceries and 120 bags total in 3 days! Residents of Rimbey thank you for your generosity and a shout-out to Evergreen Co-op for hosting us those days! Wow! Thank you, everyone.


You’re invited to help ‘Fill-A-Ford’ with donations of nonperishable food items for the holiday season. Legacy Ford Rimbey and Rimbey Co-Op have partnered together to help bring a great family dinner to everyone this holiday season.

Where can donations be made?

  • December 11, 12, and 13 at the Co-Op. Look for us by the Ford Escape parked INSIDE.
  • Every day, at Legacy Ford Rimbey until December 13.

What items does the Food Bank need most?

  • Cash donations accepted and are put into a fund to provide fresh meat and veggies for the hampers
  • Canned Goods: Soups, vegetables, fruits, meats
  • Dry & canned milk
  • Cereal, hot and cold.
  • Cheese Whiz
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jam, Syrup
  • Honey
  • Coffee, Tea, Juice
  • Flour & Sugar
  • Cookies and Cake Mixes
  • Pancake Mix
  • Popcorn
  • Granola Bars
  • Crackers, Rice, Macaroni
  • Baby Formula
  • Personal Hygiene Items

Discounts for Donations

When you purchase any new or pre-owned vehicle from Rimbey, you can save an additional $100 by bringing in a donation for the food bank. Any amount = $100 discount.

Also, all month long at Legacy Ford Rimbey get a free 50″ TV, 32GB iPad, or Home Sound System with EVERY purchase of a new or pre-owned vehicle.

Congratulations, Jim Bend on Winning the Draw!

Jim Bend, a  local cattleman from Rimbey entered our free draw in September and redeemed his coupon for an oil change. You can enter as well, every second week at the cattle auction. We’ll be there with the draw box, come enter and say hello.

Congratulations, John!

John Steberg from Rimbey entered our draw at the auction and won our draw for a free oil change, then redeemed his certificate the same day! Watch for us at the Rimbey Livestock Auction Mart Ltd every second week. We’ll be serving coffee and entering the great folks of Rimbey into our draw for another oil change.

Legacy Ford Rimbey Wins 2017 Presidential Award

Legacy Ford Rimbey was visited by a very special guest, Erin Hokansen from Ford Canada. Erin came all the way out to Rimbey to present us with the prestigious President’s Award from Ford Canda. We’re so proud of the efforts our staff put into ensuring every customer is satisfied and we’d like to thank all our customers who have given us the opportunity to earn their business.

Bionic Golf Tournament Sponsorship

The University of Alberta hosted the Bionic Golf Tournament fundraiser for the HOPE Program. This research division’s focal point is on organ donation and procurement, where they provide world-leading research and work.

Legacy Ford Ponoka and Legacy Ford Rimbey sponsored the Bionic Golf Tournament as Platinum Sponsor along with a hole in one prize.  We had a great time on the golf course, supporting a fantastic cause.

Congratulations, Dwayne!

Congratulations to Dwayne Smawley from Rimbey, on winning the 55-inch TV for test driving a vehicle in August. Dwayne test drove a 2018 F-150 to be entered into the draw!

And, great news for you as well!  We’re having another draw for a 55-inch TV during the month of September.
