Wherever you go, you are able to bring the connectivity of FordPass with you as it integrates with the SYNC Connect System of your vehicle. This innovative app is able to provide you with remote access to a series of features for streamlined productivity and time saving.
Begin your journey with FordPass by downloading it from your App Store or Google Play and logging in with your Ford Account, or by creating a new one with some basic information and a 4-digit pin. Once you are logged in you are able to add your SYNC Connect equipped vehicle through the “Add Vehicle” tab. Simply use your smartphone’s camera to scan your vehicles VIN barcode, found on the driver’s door panel, to add multiple vehicles to FordPass, where you can then assign a vehicle nickname to help tell them apart. Once your vehicle has been added you are able to activate SYNC Connect through FordPass. You can also allow FordPass access through the touchscreen on your vehicle. Once connected, remote features will become available, just make sure to allow FordPass access once again after 24-hours at vehicle start up. If you do not allow FordPass within 10 startups you may lose access to some remote feature and be required to reactivate your vehicle from the beginning.
