Ford is moving forward with its lineup of electric and hybrid model cars. The Ford Fusion offers two models: the 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid and 2015 Ford Fusion Energi. The Ford Focus offers one to the lineup, with the 2015 Ford Focus Electric 5-Door Hatchback. The C-MAX also offers two hybrid models: the 2015 Ford C-MAX Hybrid and 2015 Ford C-MAX Energi. Each one offers incredible fuel efficiency, but all have their own unique features and styling.
Both 2015 Ford Fusion models have similar styling, while the 2015 C-MAX models are more compact. As a hatch, the 2015 Ford Focus Electric 5-Door Hatchback offers the convenience of a fifth door for cargo versatility. Interior features are also similar with standard power windows and locks, MyKey® and SYNC® with MyFord® on all models. A heated steering wheel is optional on the 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid and 2015 Ford Fusion Energi, while all of the models feature dual-zone electronic control and a tilt/telescopic steering wheel with controls, including the 2015 Ford C-MAX Hybrid and 2015 C-MAX Energi.
The major difference between the models is what is under the hood. While both the 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid and 2015 Ford C-MAX have a 2.0L Atkinson-Cycle I-4 HEV engine and 1.4 kWh battery, the 2015 Ford Fusion Energi and 2015 C-MAX Energi have the PHEV version along with a 7.6 kWh battery. For the 2015 Ford Focus Electric 5-Door Hatchback, the sole source of energy comes from the 107 kW electric motor.

- 2.0L Atkinson-Cycle I-4 PHEV engine with electric motor for the Fusion and C-Max Energi in sustained mode: 188 total system net horsepower
- 2.0L Atkinson-Cycle I-4 PHEV engine with electric motor for the Fusion and C-Max Energi in depleted mode: 195 total system net horsepower
- 107 kW electric motor: 143 horsepower with 184 lb-ft of torque
